Airing Is Hiring!

Hey everybody!

All of us at Airing hope that you and your families are doing well. As well as you can be, that is, during these challenging times. It is difficult enough to suffer from OSA, but with the threat of respiratory distress from this pandemic, please be careful, diligent, and as safe as you can be.

The Airing team has continued working through all of this because we know how important it is to get our micro-CPAP device finished and into the hands of those who so desperately need it. And, we will continue to push as hard as we can to make that happen.

To help us accomplish this goal, we need to hire more scientists and engineers. So, we are reaching out to our community, that means you, to see if any of you have the expertise and desire to join our mission. We have added an Employment tab (www.fundairing.com/employment) to our website.

There, you can find a description of the positions we need to fill. If you are interested and you believe you have the expertise we are looking for, please let us know by sending your resume to hiring@fundairing.com. A bigger team will help us accelerate the development process. If it is not you, please let your friends and colleagues know about this opportunity. It would be wonderful to fill these positions with one of you!

Again, we are working hard to get the micro-CPAP product finished and out to you all as soon as possible. But, until then, please try and use your CPAP machine if you have stopped, because with the COVID-19 virus out there, it is even more important now that you stay as healthy as you can!

Best,

The Airing Team

January Update

January Update

Hey everybody! It’s Stephen here wishing you a happy and healthy new year. Before I share some great news with you, I wanted to point out that the timeline on our Indiegogo campaign page is out of date. It is no longer possible to make changes to it so we will inform you on the timing of events through updates posted here.

As you know, the development of the micro-blower has been really difficult and has taken much longer than anticipated. Just getting the proof of concept prototype to blow air and at pressure has been painfully slow, but I’m happy to tell you that we have done that! We have demonstrated that the micro-blowers can blow air (by blowing bubbles) and have measured the pressure at over five centimeters of water.

We are not yet at our designed performance level, but we are seeing progress and making continuous improvements in that direction. Airing’s micro-CPAP device is designed to work with hundreds of individual micro-blowers all working in parallel. Now that they are starting to work, we are in the process of “stacking” them together to confirm their ability to work in combination

We will keep you posted on our progress and hope to share some more performance data as soon as we can. We are 100% committed to getting the micro-CPAP device to work.

To that end, we continue to develop relationships with strategic partners that have the resources and expertise to take our prototypes and turn them into commercial products which can be manufacture and delivered to the marketplace.

We appreciate your patience and we promise to try and keep you more informed as we move forward. We understand that many people are suffering and we are working as hard and as fast as we can. Again, it is important to seek treatment for OSA and try and comply with the therapy as best you can. We believe Airing’s micro-CPAP device will be much more comfortable, but until it is available, please try and continue with whatever equipment you have; your health is critically important! We’ll catch up as soon as we can.

Thanks everyone!
